Utility Arborist – Groundsman & Climbers

Permanent or as Subcontractor

bts Group is seeking to recruit a number of Utility Arborist Ground staff and Climbers on either a permanent or Subcontractor basis, in and around the following areas. 

- Wisbech
- Duxford/Cambridge
- Kings Lynn, Fakenham, Hunstanton (including costal.)
- Colchester

Trainees will also be considered.

Successful applicants must demonstrate a willingness to travel outside of their patch.

Applications are welcome from those with experience as well as those wishing to join the industry on a trainee basis, as full training will be provided, to the right candidate.

We would also like to hear from any climbers looking to move up to a foreman's position.

The roles are to assist the team to clear the vegetation surrounding power lines, in accordance with safe working practices and as training and certifications permit.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• First Aid Certification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong Communication skills
• Able to work using own initiative
• Ability to work as part of a team

And in addition to the above the following qualifications (excluding trainees):

Groundsman:

- UA: 1*
- CS: 30, 31

*UA1 training may be provided for the right applicant.

Second Climbers:

-UA qualified*

-CS: 30, 31, 38 &39

*UA1 training may be provided for the right applicant (if not obtained)
