Competitive salary, depending on qualifications and experience
bts Group is seeking a Utility Arboriculture Supervisor with tree surveying experience to work in Stoke on Trent.
We’re looking for someone proactive to work closely with the Area Manager, supporting a programme of contract works.
Role and requirements:
Applicants should be confident, with the initiative and drive to supervise, support and offer advice, guidance, and assistance to arborist teams in the field. You’ll need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and pay attention to detail in the quality of your work.
You will perform operational audits and make sure that any damage or safety concerns are identified, reported, and addressed – always striving towards excellence.
The role also includes surveying duties: from the initial surveying of spans, to obtaining permission, to completing the programmed works. This needs someone experienced in utility arb surveying, with broad tree identification and characteristics knowledge.
Sound I.T skills would be useful, as you’ll need to operate a tablet device in the field.
