Meet the team

Halley has been the MD at bts since its incorporation in 1993. He founded the company in 1988 and has, since those beginnings, led from the front.

He has succeeded in growing bts from two people into a meritocracy of 300. And, while his personal attitude of ‘can-do, rather than can’t-do’ has become central to the bts ethos, his ability to offer positivity, encouragement and support to individuals have been rewarded with loyalty, growth and the rapid personal development of many within the company.
 

A director since 2006, Darren has been operations director since March 2012. A key figure at bts for more than 20 years his personal growth has run in parallel with that of bts.

He's been at the forefront of each step the company has taken. In addition to working constantly to ensure bts delivers quality and value he is committed to the realisation of the aspirations and potential of the company, and of the individuals within it.
 

Glenn joined bts In 2007 as the manager of the accounts department. He has been the company’s finance director since 2008.

He works directly with all departments in the company and is a disciplined voice of reason. He balances corporate aspirations and investment opportunities with the daily responsibility of contract delivery.  

He listens to everyone’s needs with an abstract, dispassionate, ear and keeps the cash flowing. 
 

Sarah Marklove has worked with bts for around ten years, most recently heading the team for a major contract (as Senior Contract Manager) before becoming Infrastructure Director in February 2023.

She’s well-versed and well-qualified in all aspects of the business. Her remit includes IT and technology, compliance, communications, asset management, and facilities. Sarah encourages people to examine and improve processes, supporting and leading staff in making bts the best company it can be.
